Simon
was a part
of
the music scene for many years
playing in numerous bands and travelling extensively.
He took a well earned break to put down roots in 2000,
but
was lured out of retirement to join The
Attention Seekers in 2003.
He left The Attention Seekers at the end of 2007 to pursue other interests
including creative writing and went on to join The Rattlers, a hugely popular
local band.
In November 2008 members of The Attention Seekers got together to play at Heroes
& Scarecrows and it was with great courage that Simon was able to take part.
His tragic and untimely death leaves a void in all our lives and our thoughts
are with his family.
